Tips for Using Worksheets

check mark

1. As stated above ALWAYS print worksheets and complete them yourself.  This will tell you if the page is too difficult, too easy or just right. This can also alert you to any difficult vocabulary, typos or other confusions.

2. When you assign worksheets, always remind students to put their names on their paper.

3. Be very clear about when the page is due. Tell kids right away if they need to complete it in class in the next few minutes, or if they should take it home and bring it back the next day.

4. Tell students if they should complete the page alone or if they are allowed to work with a friend or family helper.
