Here are some of the topics covered in the 45 word lists in the Spelling Bee Primer for Grades 3-5:
Each word list contains 15 words, with spaces to add many more of your own. Words range from easy to very challenging. A helpful tip appears at the bottom of most Word List pages.
Third grade students may want to learn only the first 10-12 words. Fifth grade students may choose to skip the first few words and concentrate on the remainder of the list.
The ability to spell a lot of words correctly is essential to success in any spelling bee. The more words your child can spell correctly, the better his/her chances at moving forward in a competition.
Also, the more words your child can spell, the more CONFIDENCE your child will have when the pressure mounts!
Spelling well is only part of the key to succeeding in a spelling bee. Spellers also need to calm their nerves, and think about their best bee "style" They need to fully understand the spelling bee rules. They need to know when to ask questions.
There's a LOT to know, and this information is included in the Spelling Bee Primer!
While no product can guarantee that your child will win his/her spelling bee competition, I believe that your child will be much better prepared by working through all the features of this thick eBook!
Much depends on your child's desire to succeed and his/her willingness to study hard. Supportive, encouraging family members are also crucial!
