Our free printable preschool worksheets will help your early learners get ready for the BIG school! We have a growing collection of fun pages to provide kids with lots of practice, especially with letters and letter sounds.
Here's a fun maze for your preschoolers! First, kids must decide which pictures start with the letter B. Then they find a path from Start to Finish as they color all the pictures that begin with B. Simple, fun and educational!
Now try Circles and Sounds 2 which features words that begin with the letter P.
1) As an extension activity, ask students to identify even more B words. They might see objects around them that begin with B, or they may already know other B words. Possible responses include banana, bat, box, boots, balloon, bear, book, button, bird and many more.
2) Encourage students to listen to the difference between B and D words. Can they hear the difference between big /dig and bug/dug? Do they know the difference between b and d when they see the letters?
3) In a similar manner, stress the difference between B and P. Ask kids to listen to the difference in the initial sounds of big/pig, bill/pill, bear/pear, and bee/pea. Again, ask kids to look at the letters to see similarities and differences.
